In April 2020, after three years of construction, the first-class Changchun Yatai Jingyue Base in Asia and the leading in China was officially put into use. However, being able to get FIFA certification is the goal of Yatai footballers to build a base with higher standards. On March 15, 2021, the indoor football field of Yatai Jingyue Base began to lay artificial turf in accordance with FIFA standards. It is understood that the artificial turf laid this time is 118 meters long and 72 meters wide, which is the international standard size of the football field.
After a month of intense construction, the artificial turf of the indoor football field of Yatai Jingyue Base was laid. The club then launched the application for FIFA venue certification. On April 29, the laboratory of FIFA testing agency in China came to Yatai Jingyue Base to conduct detailed measurement and testing of the artificial turf of the indoor football field. FIFA field testing consists of two parts: laboratory testing and site testing, which respectively test and evaluate the construction, material selection and actual measurement data of the site.
After waiting for nearly two months, the artificial turf of the indoor football field of Yatai Jingyue Base successfully passed the FIFA inspection, obtained the highest level of certification in the FIFA football artificial turf quality and safety certification system, FIFA Quality Pro, and also obtained the test report of the official FIFA authorized testing agency, becoming the only FIFA certification standard venue in Changchun City.
The completion of the indoor football field of Yatai Jingyue Base can not only host high-level domestic events, but also make up for the regret that the team cannot train in bad weather.
